It is not an exaggeration to say that their signatures represent a permanent trace of the Institute of Design, their deceased colleagues, and a whole era of American photographic history. Fifteen years later, in 2017, many of them (notably Ishimoto, Metzker, Jachna, and Sterling) have since died. This title is a contemporary art photography classic.
