Notes are given on nine chiton species, collected mainly during the 'Oceanic Reefs' Expedition to the Seychelles (1992-1993), with some biogeographical observations. A new genus of Lepidochitonidae, Particulazona, is proposed for a new species, P. milnei, from Darwin, N. Australia. The new genus is characterized by features of the valve sculpture and the peculiar dorsal girdle covering. New taxon: Particulazona milnei n. gen., n. sp. 4 pp., 14 figs, gr. 8.

Two new species of Polyplacophora from Polynesia are described, viz. Weedingia alborosea gen. nov., sp. nov. from Tikehau in the Tuamotu Archipelago and W. mooreana sp. nov. from Moorea in the Society Islands. The genus Weedingia is classified with the Hanleyidae in the suborder Lepidopleurina. 7 pp., 30 figs, gr. 8.
