Buch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - Laurence Housman's 'Trimblerigg: A Book of Revelation' is a biting satire cloaked in allegory, offering a sharp social and political commentary. This enduring work utilizes the 'roman à clef' approach to cleverly disguise real figures and events, creating a timeless parody of power and ideology. A masterclass in political satire, 'Trimblerigg' skewers societal norms and political maneuverings with wit and precision. Housman's work remains relevant due to its insightful observations on human nature and the corrupting influence of power. Readers interested in classic satire and sharp political commentary will find this book a compelling and thought-provoking read.
