From Net, seems this is a series of spiritual exercises first written between 1922 and 1923, while staying in Vienna and Berlin, and subsequently published in 1927 in the Athenian magazine Anayennisi (Renaissance). The text was later revised on various occasions and reached its final state in 1944. Nikos Kazantzakis 1883- 1957) was a Greek writer. Widely considered a giant of modern Greek literature, he was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in nine different years, He was also the author of Zorba the Greek. Nickos Kazantzakis met Eleni Samiou (Helen, born 1903) in 1924. They began a romantic relationship in 1928, though they were not married until 1945. She helped Kazantzakis with his work, typing drafts, accompanying him on his travels, and managing his business affairs. They were married until his death in 1957.Helen died in 2004. We also found on the net; This new edition published privately by Kazantzakis' wife in 1971 at the height of the Colonel's rule when Kazantzakis' work was prohibited. But we are not sure if this was factual. Size approx 21.5 x 14.5cm. To sum up this would seem as this is in such good condition, possibly unread, to be a rare copy . Signed by Publisher.
