Pictorial design to front board. 12 beautiful full page tipped-in colour plates (all present) and numerous line drawings set into the text. A slight lean to the spine, and twisting and slight sinking to the page block, but nonetheless the spine and page block remain firm. Spine age-darkened and rear board shows slight darkening and some light staining. Mild foxing to endpapers and occasionally elsewhere.
