Clean and tightly bound in green cloth with gilded titles and nature imagery. Light shelf wear, remains Very Good. The illustrated contents show shelf wear and light pen…ciling, minor split at front hinge and a few spots, remains Very Good. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There is a handwritten number and Mercantile Library stamp on the title page and some of the internal pages. There are no other indications of the library's ownership.
