A Hardback with No Dust Jacket in Poor condition. Stiff brown Card Boards with blue cloth spine. Boards rubbed , spine creased with some fraying to edges. Internally cracked, badly shaken with some loose pages. Hinges just holding. One or two pages torn. Frontispiece a portrait of Viscount Knutsford. There are four other illustr…ations showing a retriever landing fish. 392 Pages plus 16 Pages of advertisements giving details of the publisher's other titles. Viscount Knutsford studied Law and was called to the bar in 1847. In 1873 he was elected as a Conservative M P and for many years held senior government posts including Secretary of State for the Colonies. This is a reading copy only.
