The book is housed in a plain gray slipcase. The slipcase is bumped with light wear to the edges and a tiny tear to one corner. There is minor wear to the edges of the dust jacket with a tiny tear to the tail of the jacket's spine. 397 pages, with profuse textual black & white illustrations and tipped-in color plates throughout. Near fine in a very good dust wrapper. Limited edition of 1,000 copies.A marine painter who expertly captured the sea and shore, Eugene Louis Boudin (1824-1898) was the first French Landscape painter to actually paint outdoors. Corot, himself a French landscape painter, referred to Boudin as the "King of the Skies".
