Kringen, as acknowledged in the publisher's foreword, is a key event in Norwegian history - a manifestation of the nation's independence and its willingness to defend itself. Includes facsimile reprint of the title page of the first edition published by Christiania in 1838. Hard to find title.

Erkennt man dagegen den Kreditinstituten eine Sonderstellung nicht zu, dann ist auch nicht einzusehen, warum diese Institute hinsichtlich der Bilanzierung anders behandelt werden sollen als andere Betriebstypen. Fur abweichende Bilanzierungsgrund satze bliebe in diesem FaIle nur soweit Raum, wie sie durch die Eigenart des Bankbetriebs bedingt sind. Fur beide Standpunkte lassen sich gute Argumente finden. Die Entscheidung, ob und inwieweit das gesamtwirtschaftliche Interesse die Verletzung der Grundsatze der Rechenschaft rechtfertigt, ist letztlich ordnungspolitischer Natur.

Troels Troels-Lund) på fribladet. * Niels Krag (1550-1602) fik som kongelig historiograf i 1590'erne til opgave at skabe en fortsættelse til Saxos krønike og arbejde sig kronologisk bagud, så han begyndte med Christian III og hans tid. Krag nåede kun at få beskrevet de første år af Christian III's tid, og det blev Hans Gram, der 130 år efter Krags død fik udgivet stoffet med sit eget noteapparat og en fyldig indledning.
