Overall neat and tidy, only very slight fading on black square and a few spots of discoloration to hinges. No lettering is disrupted, no stains or damage to structural integrity. Title page dated 1989. Copyright page dated only 1989. 1315 pages. Last few pages (starting at 1303) have very faint water damage around edges, just a mild stain. None touches the text block or significantly warps the page. Stamp on front free endpaper reads "Discarded by USDA, ARS, National Agricultural Library." Pages are otherwise clean, crisp, and bright.
