Condition: Good. 1940. No Edition Remarks. 284 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Glazed paper covered boards. Library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces.

First edition, first printing. Publisher's original orange cloth with black titles and border to the upper board and spine, in dustwrapper. An excellent near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth fresh and bright. The contents with a previous owner's bookplate and shelf stamp to the front pastedown, and his ownership inscription and acquisition date at the head of the title page are otherwise clean throughout. Complete with the bright rubbed and nicked dustwrapper that has a small chip at the base of the spine.
