This charming painting presents a group of elephants attempting to construct a tower of cards, with a fold-out pop-up of a completed card tower. Painted by Danish artist Peter Lautrop, who was known for his colourful and abstract pieces. With a delightful pop-up element incorporated into the work, designed by Danish artist Kristine Suhr, known for her mechanical pop-up works. Signed by Lautrop, dated 1998, with an additional inscription of 'To Michael and Megan from Kristine'. Bound in marbled paper-covered boards. Bound in marbled paper-covered boards.
