René-Julien Chatelain (1771-1836), was squadron leader in the 9th Cuirassier Regiment. Bound in red sheepskin with gilt spine bands and titles. Scuffing to the leather, light foxing along edges of page block, text and plates clean, bright white, no foxing, unmarked, binding straight and tight. Very good.
