Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. The Hebrew Bible, the Pentateuch, Joshua, Judges, Samuel, and Psalms. Title page and foreword is in Latin and text is in Hebrew. Bookplate from The Library of the Society of Saint Francis. There is some light graphite marginalia on a few pages; there is also foxing along the edges of the pages from age. Roughly 100-200 pages of content. Front and back fly pages are heavily discolored. Binding is a bit loose. Muted maroon cover boards with some rubbing and minor markings from wear. The corners of the boards are bent in and a little creased. Spine has gilt lettering and some rubbing on the top and bottom headband. Overall very good condition. Full refund if not satisfied.

The addresses are titled 'Ourselves', 'Our People', 'Our Work: Day and Evening Schools', 'Our Work: Classes and Sermons', 'Our Work: Sick Visiting', and 'Our Work: The Gaol - The Workhouse - The Hospital'.Leeke was Canon and sub-dean of Lincoln Cathedral.Six pages of adverts to the rear. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Spine is faded. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the cloth. Author's name to the tail of the front board is a little misprinted. Front hinge is starting but firm. Author's inscription to the verso of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good. signed by author. book.
