Volume is profusely and beautifully illustrated. This facsimile edition admits to a number of small bumps to extremities and a small damaged area to fore-edge of back cover. Small scuffed area to lower edges of pages. Mild impressions to length of spine from opening the book. Very faint spotting to fore-edges of pages, with top-edges red. A previous owner wrote a note in ink to front free endpaper about his purchase of the book in 1973. There is an approximately 2" x 2" area to back paste-down endpaper that admits to two small stickers and some soiling. The text is clean and the binding is sound. Overall, this is a good, sound, user friendly copy.
