A liturgical book published by Wilhelm florentin von Salm-Salm (1745-1810), the Archbishop of Tournai and, after the French Revolution, a well-known Archbishop of Prague. The book contains texts of various rites (with many music scores): eucharist, baptism, marriage, confession, extreme unction, office of the dead, absolution of heresy, exorcism etc. Two related letters are also included. Jänner 1878 Karlsbad, Böhmen (Karlovy Vary, Tschechische Republik), 28. August 1950 Berkeley, USA, Bakteriologe, Serologe. Studierte an der Deutschen Universität Prag (Dr. med. univ. 1902), arbeitete bis 1910 an verschiedenen deutschen Lungenheilstätten und bei Robert Koch, kam 1910 nach Wien und habilitierte sich 1915 an der Universität Wien (ao. Prof. 1920). Ab 1925 war er Leiter der Tuberkuloseabteilung des Serotherapeutischen Instituts. Er entdeckte die Grundlagen der Tetanus- und Diphtherieschutzimpfung und die noch heute anerkannte "Löwenstein-Kultur" zur Feststellung von Tuberkulose. 1938 emigrierte Löwenstein über Großbritannien in die USA.
