The names to this imprint are that of printer, scholar and librarian Thomas Ruddiman and his nephew, Walter Ruddiman.'On the Sublime' is a Roman-era Greek work of literary criticism. Its origins are believed to be 1st century AD and the author is unknown. They are conventionally referred to as Longinus or Pseudo-Loginus.This work is regarded as a classic study on aesthetics and good writing. In a contemporary full calf binding.
