Bifolium. In good condition, lightly aged. Folded twice for postage. Written in a good firm hand. Addressed to 'Dear Miss Faithfull' and signed 'G Salisbury'. Begins: 'I am afraid the Prime Minister has nothing to do with the coinage & should advize [sic] Mr Faithfull Begg to lay his suggestions before Mr Goschen [Salisbury's Chancellor of the Exchequer between 1887 and 1892] in whose department I fancy the matter lies'. She thanks her for sending 'the interesting extract on Mr Balfour', finding it 'pleasant to think that hard work is still appreciated in England'. …
