Inhalt: >Mit Witz und Satire< berichtet der anonyme Verfasser über ein Manuskript, welches er auf einer Reise auf einem Speicher entdeckt hat und auf dem das fast schon verblichene Wort "Helenopolis" entziffert werden konnte.(Sauer 1316). Helenopolis (griechisch: "Stadt Helen…as") wurde vom 15. bis zum 18. Jahrhundert mitunter für Frankfurt am Main benutzt, (erstmals durch Johannes Trithemius), um dadurch ein möglichst hohes Alter der Stadt, die bald nach dem Trojanischen Krieg gegründet worden sein soll, anzuzeigen. Ob der Name sich auf die Mutter Konstantins (sie ist die Patronin Frankfurts) oder auf die mythologische Helena oder allgemein auf die Verehrung des Griechentums (Hellenismus) bezieht, scheint noch nicht geklärt zu sein. Jedenfalls ist das Frankfurter Helenopolis als Druckort in Büchern und Abhandlungen, in der Numismatik sowie als Matrikelangabe Frankfurter Studenten nachzuweisen. Quelle: Wikipedia. Zustand: Der empfindliche Umschlag wurde zum Schutze locker in eine Zellophan- Hülle eingelegt, dieser angestaubt, berieben und beschabt, Ecken und Kanten etwas bestoßen.
