Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. 12mo. A romance novel. David Lyall was one of the pen names of Annie S Swan, one of the most popular authors of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with over two hundred novels to her name. She was also a suffragist, a Liberal activist and founder member and vice-president of the Scottish National Party. The Land of Beulah is one of her later novels and now quite hard to find, especially in a dust jacket as this one is.
