Fac…e à la page titre se trouve un frontispice (le portrait gravé sur bois, en noir, de Félicien ROPS, gravé par JEAN DUBRAY, l'auteur du livre).Celui-ci compte 289 Pages + la Table des gravures et le justificatif .La table des gravures recense: 5 planches en couleurs, 117 planches en noir hors texte et 132 planches dans le texte. Citons quelques lignes du texte de Jean DUBRAY évoquant l'art de Félicien ROPS: "Curieux au paroxysme, il savait l'art de fureter dans les boudoirs étranges et y découvrir les finesses pleines de mystères de la vie de Paris aussi que les hasards des poses surprises.
