Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Book is in good condition and very clean with no writing or markings anywhere. No dust jacket but has navy blue cloth covers with gold lettering on front and gilt design of Maple Leaf and beaver in the middle. Binding of the back cover is a bit loose, but with no loose or missing pages. The author was a Captain in the 43rd Battalion (Ottawa and Carleton Rifles). These are his accounts of this forgotten battle as he saw active service on the Niagara frontier during both raids, and he endeavors to give the reader a faithful account of what occurred. **First Edition**.
