Previous ownership signature to front free end paper. Black and white photograph of gathered rowers loosely inserted. Illustrated throughout in black and white. Good only. Somewhat used copy with rubbing and toning to both tail and head of spine and corners. Some soiling to boards. Rear bottom front corner bumped. However, contents are clean and quite sound for a book of its age.

Clean hardback tightly bound in blue cloth with gilt titles, cloth is worn at edges, relevant photos pasted in to front endpapers plus letters from when the book was acquired in 1969. xx + 250 pages, photos on plates, notes, appendices.
