A nice example of a scarce work (the subscribers' list suggests a print run of around 160 copies). MacIntyre North was an enthusiastic expatriate Scot who made a special study of Scottish Gaelic antiquities and arts. He founded 'The Club of True Highlanders' in London, an association which evoked the memory of an organisation founded by MacDonnell of Glengary in the 1820s.
