(sgc). A light-hearted look at the trials… and tribulations of owning a horse. Inscribed: "For Dr & Mrs Rocke Robertson with the compliments of the author". Dr. Rocke Roberson (1912-1998) was the Principal & Vice-Chancellor of McGill University (1962- 1970). Laid in is a Note on Edmund E. Simpson, M.D. letterhead "Author & printer the same person - me". Also laid in an A.L.S. from Edmund Simpson to the Robertson's dated Nov. 7, 1974 with Blackwood Press printing samples: "McGill is such a great place. There will always be a warm spot in my heart for the University. What I liked most, I think, was that an outsider was made to feel at home.".
