In a thin vellum dust-jacket, with a little loss at the middle of the spine. Maidment's first version, a slimmer collection of songs, appeared in 1824 in a run of 30 copies. This enlarged and later Garland contains poems which in the main appeared here for the first time in print. Generally good, sound and clean, but could be a little fresher.
