Text is legible throughout. Some issues present such as cracking, inscriptions, inserts, moderate foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Binding remains firm. Boards have noticeable shelf wear with rubbing and corner bumping. Moderate sunning and marking. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Lettering is darkened.

      Arthur Mailey (1886-1967) spanned a generation of Australian cricket, playing against Victor Trumper and Donald Bradman. He was a leg-break and googly bowler in 21 Test matches for Australia between 1921 and 1926. His famous return of 10 for 66 was for the 1921 Australians against Gloucestershire at Cheltenham.
