Tirage limité à 500 exemplaires (celui-ci ne le n°12) signés par l'auteur au justificatif de tirage. Envoi autographe signé « A M. Georges Dupau / très sympathique souvenir de l'auteur / Marie d'Espie de la Hire ». À sa mort en 1938, Georges Dupau effectuera un legs à L'Académie française pour l'attribution du prix portant son nom, décerné jusqu'en 1989. Épouse de l'écrivain de feuilletons à succès Jean de La Hire (pseudonyme d'Adolphe d'Espie), Marie d'Espie signa elle aussi plusieurs romans sentimentaux et recueils de poèmes.
