Brilliant anatomist, he was then chief prosector works of anatomy at the Medical Faculty of Paris. On lui doit des travaux sur la hernie crurale - son sujet de thèse- et sur la neurologie et l'anatomie des nerf en particulier du nerf splanchnique et sur la ligature artérielle. He must work on crural hernia - his thesis-and neurology and anatomy of nerve especially splanchnic nerve and artery ligation. A près une carrière parisienne durant laquelle il fut chirurgien à l'hôpital de la Salpetrière il regagna son pays natal où il mourrut à l'âge de 85 ans. RC.
