(1st edition) original boards Nice copy small octavo vii + 134pp., frontis., b/w plates, Pro was a Mexican Jesuit priest executed under the presidency of Plutarco Elías Calles on the false charges of bombing and attempted assassination of former Mexican President Álvaro Obregón. This is an account by Archbishop Mannix published in 1944 or 1945 & is very scarce.
