BOTH VOLUMES, 1888 hardcovers in good condition: pages excellent and unmarked, although they are slightly age-yellowed and pp. 135-138 of volume 2 are partially loose (one of the binding strings has broken); excellent hinges; spine ends slightly frayed, corner tips a little bumped with boards peeking, very old library stickers pasted to the front of each volume ("Mudie's Select Library, 30 to 34 New Oxford Street"). 327 and 319 pages.
