This is volume 35 in the publisher's series Les Classiques Francais du Moyen Age, originally published in 1924, also as volume 35. Holbrook extensively rewrote the work but was unable to revise the proofs before his death in 1934. This task was completed by Mario Roques. 132 unopened pages, with Variantes et Notes, and Glossaire; plus xxiv pages Avertissement (by Roques), and other prefatory matter including Bibliographie. Covers are slightly sunned, chipped, and grimed, and have sticker shadow at front; erasures evident on rfEP; text is clean and sound, but browning to margins.
