Jeremy Miles, an ad man, vowed to own a complete set of James Bond first editions and an Aston Martin by his 50th birthday; while Michael VanBlaricum, a research engineer in defence systems analysis, hasn't stopped at books and cars but once even pursued a submarine from a Bond film, for the Ian Fleming Foundation.
