The black leather title label on the spine is tooled in gilt and below, in gold, is '2ND ED', a library class number and the date 1671. The spelling of the author's name as Larrogue has been copied from the miss-spelling on the title page. Although this comes from a library there are no library stamps throughout the book except for the words NORFOLK COUNTY LIBRARY WITHDRAWN FOR SALE stamped on the modern front endpaper and a single letter S in red on the verso of the title page. The unprinted page before the title page bears the name Vincent in brown ink and the more recent inscription 'Ex Libris / Tom Copeman / October 1914'. The verso has some neat pencilled notes on the author. Apart from the occasional odd spotting and some light age toning the overall condition is very good to fine.
