Hardback. Condition: Very good. 22 x 29cm 90pp very good hardback signed by both Eva Weinmayr and Gustav Metzger at bottom of front free end paper and addressed for Clive. An accompanying press release has a handwritten message :'Dear Clive, we hope very much you can make it! EvaX'. Clive Philpott, writer and scholar on artists'… books. The release describes the book thus: 'Artist Eva Weinmayr, who works with abandoned materials, images and fragments of the information society, is primarily interested in language. For years, she has been collecting Evening Standard "teaser bills" - those abbreviated and exaggerated posters hawking the headlines of the day - and using them as a starting point for her work. In a fragmentary and associative text, Gustav Metzger reflects on Weinmayr's three recent bodies of work and documents the ongoing dialogue between their different practices focussing on social processes.' The book is accompanied by a small red book launch card.
