First Edition
First edition. Scarce hardcover box containing 6 full colour photographs plates, and one introductory plate. This work was designed for Epoi, a new genuine leather bag brand, made in Japan. The art photography couple Maurice Scheltens and Liesbeth Abbenes together created a series of six photographic works using the leather parts of bags - inspired by the designs of Alexander Calder. Only 500 copies were produced; printed on large-format, ultra-thick card and presented as individual plates - all in excellent condition. The box has some light bumping to the top and bottom corners (shown in photos), otherwise very good and clean. 41 x 31 cm. .
