Very good + hardcover (no dust jacket) shows touch of soil to covers, hint of toning along spine, mild fade to top stain, bookseller sticker at bottom of rear pastedown and some other very light trace wear. 445 pages with index and 150 illustrations. Still an attractive copy of this 14th installment in the Lonsdale Library series that is edited by Maydon and features a number of different contributors.

Inside armorial bookplate of Douglas Service to front paste down, except for some sporadic mild foxing all rough cut pages and plates with top edge gilt in very good clean condition with many uncut pages.

Good reading - an African mountain game hunting book. Original gilt cloth. Lightly bumped corners and tiny separation just starting in rear spine gutter (really small, we almost missed it).
