Concepts such as how does fog occur, lessons of too much greed, tales about how certain animals came to be, cautions against lying . These include the raven, the loon, the narwhal, and the petrel. Read also about the evil spirit and the wicked with. Angakok is about the making of the shaman - Ataitsiak, complete with his tornaks - helpful spirits. Several words are given in the language of the Inuit : okalugtuat, Opingrak, kamik,ojuk, and oolichans - among them. Cond : Boards are light blue with dark blue lettering- spine only. End-papers are (orangey-yellow) pictorial with drawings of articles like snow-goggles, kayak, bow and drill, and stone lamp. D.J. is dark blue with salmon-coloured lettering. D.J. front drawing is from the shaman's tale and features three imaginary characters that can be conjured up. .J. is price-clipped. and has one small tear. D.J. has light wear at fore points and very minor chipping. Volume is tight, bright, and square. No marks, creases, bumps, nor stains. Long gift inscription ahead of title from Fred J.
