Two contemporary half calf volumes, slightly worn, with raised bands, richly gilt spines, yellow title and green volume labels. Red edges. Joints and bands somewhat worn. Second volume with small crack in top compartment. Occasional spotting. Small rust hole on pp. 43-44 in the first volume. Plate 3 and 5 with darkened outer margin with minor tears. Plate 5 also with heavy dampstaining in the margin, which also is visible on the stub of the fourth plate. Signature of Anton Ulric Berndes on title leaves, blue stamps of George Montelius. A nice copy.
