Marbled endpaper, near contemporary inked ownership inscription to front blank fly-leaf, partially completed, two charmingly naive watercolour illustrations pasted in. An attractively bound Edwardian birthday album, each date accompanied by one or more quotations from the work of notable authors, inter alia, Victor Hugo, Dryden , Shelley, Longfellow, and Shakespeare. This copy has no entries. Yapp edges bumped, with a little rubbing to patches of the suede. Light foxing internally, though generally clean. Decorated title page with red and black lettering.
