Keller schickte ein Exemplar der Anthologie an Storm, um diesen mit der Lyrik von Meyer vertraut zu machen und schrieb zur Publikation: "Ich sende Ihnen heute eine kleine Probe seiner (C.F. Meyers) lyrischen Art mit, in einem Büchelchen, das von bettelnden Damen veranstaltet wurde und an dessem geschmacklosen Titel namentlich keine Schuld tragen"- Stellenweise stockfleckig sonst wohlerhalten.
