Two hardback volumes follow - Sartre Romantic Rationalist by Iris Murdoch comes from the series Studies in Modern Literature and Thought published by Bowes & Bowes 1961, while Sartre's Existential Biographies by Michael Scriven, Macmillan 1984 is a crisp first edition in a very good but sunned dust jacket. The collection continues with biographies of Sartre by Maurice Cranston, R-M Alberes and Philip Thody. Mary Warnock discusses Existentialism and The Philosophy of Sartre as does Anthony Manser.
