Contact seller5-star sellerStapled Binding. Condition: Fine. Limited Edition. Limited edition. #68 of 100 copies. An exceptional copy. Binding tight, pages clean, bright, and unmarked. 1974 Stapled Binding. 37 pp. From the preface: "This script was broadcast on B.B.C. Radio Four on 1st June 1972. This script was commissioned as one of a radio series with…the general title of 'The Other Victorians.' At the time of its commissioning - the Summer of 1971 - the Duke of Clarence still figured on several lists of possible suspects, though by the time the script was broadcast in the following year, suspicions had abated and Clarence had been relegated to the ranks of those other figures--some shadowy, some solid--which make up that unique Rogues' Gallery. In writing the script I had three main objects; firstly, to tell the story of the murders through contemporary records; to establish Clarence's alibi, and, finally, to suggest the kind of person, who, I felt, was responsible for the murders.
