Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. - Boards rubbed and unevely faded w/ some small marks - Corners bimped and frayed w/ boards exposed - Lettering to spine faded - Edges of text block tanned and foxed - Previous owner's name in ink to front free endpaper - The two maps to the rear of the book are tanned and creased w/ tears to the fore edges and some loss, though the internal map and pull out are not thus affected - Some toning and foxing to text - Ex Libris sticker from The Religious Society of Friends to front pastedown endpaper which has been pasted over an older ex libris sticker - Three pamphlets relating to the said Society laid in - Book ow/ solid, clean and tight - xxiv/263 pages.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Maroon cloth boards with white lettering to front and spine. Not an ex-library book. No inscriptions or other markings. Two fold out maps in rear in very good condition with no creasing or losses. Boards have rubbing and light bumping to edges and corners and a couple of marks. Spine is lightly sunned. Binding is complete and firm with no splitting. Some foxing to end leaves and edges.
