Full-Leather. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Deighton, Bell & Co., 1861. Full brown leather with five raised bands on the spine with titles in gilt, and decorations in gilt and black, and the gilt shield of the Hulme Bequest, 'Munificentia Hulmiana' on both boards. All edges red, marbled endpapers. Some light scuffs. binding tight, pages celand and bright, very good condition.

First Edition. History of Edinburgh illustrated with many line drawings. Some water staining to top edge of maroon illustrated boards which also have a few small nicks.All edges gilt. Ownership inscription dated 1877 to title, otherwise VG-.
