Die Einleitungstexte stammen von beiden Autoren der Publikation, dann folgt eine chronologische Übersicht des tschechischen fotografischen Geschehens in den letzten zehn Jahren. Den Hauptteil bilden die Porträts der Künstler. Am Ende folgt die Bibliographie. ***** V. Birgus and M. Vojtechovsky introduce us, in their representative monography (published on the occasion of an exhibition of the same name that took place in Chicago Cultural Center), into the Czech photography of the 1990s. The past decade brought along new exhibitory and publishing possibilities and confirmed the high quality of the Czech photography. The book exemplifies this by the work of the living classics (J. Koudelka, J. Streit), long series of the first-rate authors, as well as the authors who have come into public knowledge just recently, in the 1990s (V. Jirasek, M. Brachtlova).
