ARCH was formed by a group of Americans in Paris, led by Ambassador Myron T. Herrick. This organization acted as a central hub for distributing American aid, with the goal of providing relief to those in need in France and Allied nations. The author details the extensive efforts of ARCH, from collecting and organizing supplies to overcoming challenges in transportation and distribution. Through first-hand accounts and statistics, the book sheds light on the profound impact of American sympathy and assistance on the war effort. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
