Add to basketFirst edition. The book is firmly bound in lightly marked and rubbed blue cloth, lettered in gilt to the spine. The text block is slightly foxed and toned. The dust jacket is the original and not price clipped, it is lightly rubbed and grubby with a few small nicks to the edges. A heartbroken young woman returns from an unspecif…ied city to a farm in an unspecified valley location, near an unspecified town, finds a strange, powerful young man with hard eyes in her barn, and then the excitement and promise of new romance and healing begins. It was reprinted in the Woman's Weekly Library a year later, which is quite readily obtainable, but the first edition is rare.
