Some fading and patches of scuffing and discolouration but much of the original colouring is still visible and title is very clear on front board and spine. Signs of rubbing and shelf-wear. Corners bumped and a little torn. Binding holding although crack to front inner hinge and FFEP a bit loose. Page edges browned and some are a little uneven. Previous owner name written in pencil on inside of FFEP. Otherwise page surfaces are free of any underlining, marginalia, etc. though there are odd marks here and there. This autobiography covers her childhood in England (Manchester) and, from 16, in Tennessee.
