Condition: Fair. 1895. No Edition Remarks. 288 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece, with other plates throughout. Pages and plates are mildly tanned and foxed, but text and images remain clear. Binding is slightly shaky, due to cracked hinges, but all pages remain attached. Noticeable marking to some pages throughout; text is not obscured. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine is moderately tanned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Visible marks overall. Gilt remains bright.

Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Book has a slight forward lean. Visible wear marks to boards.
